“The experience of being on the mountain, with our guide Giuseppe was incredible. Found ourselves in places and seeing things that I never would have imagined, thanks to his expertise. His English was good, and he was able to impart much knowledge about Etna, its history and some fascinating geologic info. Highly recommend. I’m 62, relatively good shape and it wiped me. Pro tip: carry as little as possible while allowing for weather conditions, and bring a snack. I used a backpack (daypack) that was too heavy with stuff I never used.”
