It is extremely strenuous in parts; you really need to be in good shape, have strong willpower and be free from vertigo. The tour is usually offered over 7-10 days and not 5 like here. One day we hiked 18 km and descended over 2000 metres in altitude; even the fittest members of our group were knocked out.
